Hey everyone!
I was looking up some more information in regards to the discussion we had on McDonald's, the grocery store, and being lazy ;) This article was interesting and shocking to me because it introduces a new issue we weren't even aware of (or I wasn't, at least). McDonald's has coupons for their already reduced items! Now the Big Mac lovers have no chance of escaping this horrible and misleading trap. (sarcastic undertone) Just thought it'd be interesting to take a peek!

Lol I didn't know they offered coupons! In class we talked how buying groceries can be cheaper than buying fast food, and I believe this still stands true in light of the new coupon info. That being said there are compounding factors such as time it takes to cook the food and whether or not all the cooked food is utilized so on.
ReplyDeleteA humorous note to illustrate that point:

It is debatable the cost factor in regards to eating fast food versus buying groceries. Usually when one buys groceries, they tend to buy more than what is needed, figuring they will stock up or have a supply, this tends to result in food going bad or never being fully used. However when one eats fast food and orders off a menu, one usually only gets what is necessary, in fear of ordering too much food. With the ability to buy a burger, fries and a soda for $3, this is surely of discussion.
